DR. MORRIS S. DEES, III ONCOLOGIST

When patients hear they have cancer the world, as they knew it, changes. The word cancer shocks us and paralyzes the patients mind. Time stands still, and the patient cannot process any further information. They ask questions such as, "Why me?", and "Has God forsaken me?"

I want to share an encouraging word with you today. Gods Word has comfort for us, and removes our fears of annilhation. Seek Gods Word daily and throughout your journey with cancer. This meditation on Gods Word will release you from fear, and faith will arise in your heart. God will also use this cancer diagnosis to get closer to you. God wants you to know His love, and by this love you are healed.

Thank you for joining us today! Please come and be a part of our next cancer care support group meeting on Monday, July 14th, at 6pm, at Beaches Baptist Hospital to hear more on this important topic. We enjoy Bible teaching, group sharing and caring, support and prayer.

Weekly Word For Your Encouragement

WHAT INCREDIBLE LOVE

1 John 3:1 SEE WHAT [an incredible] quality of love the Father has given (shown, bestowed on) us, that we should [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God!

 And so we are! The reason that the world does not know (recognize, acknowledge) us is that it does not know Him.

2 Beloved, we are [even here and] now Gods children; it is not yet disclosed (made clear) what we shall be [hereafter], but we know that when He comes and is manifested, we shall [as Gods children] resemble and be like Him, for we shall see Him just as He [really] is.

3 And everyone who has this hope [resting] on Him cleanses (purifies) himself just as He is pure (chaste, undefiled, guiltless).AMP

Heavenly Father, we thank you for Your incredible love that You have bestowed upon us. 

We are so grateful that we should be called Your sons and daughters. For this reason, we ask for Your continued grace to walk in Your ways cleansed and made pure by the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

We ask Lord that You would draw us to run after You and to do Your Will. Thank You Lord that Your love is made perfect in our weakness and nothing past, present or in the future will ever seperate us from Your Love, Lord.

Thank You Lord that Your Name is a strong tower and we can run to You and be safe and know Your great incredible love for us!
