F.R.I.E.N.D.S.  is here to give comfort and spiritual well being by working together with the Medical profession for health and healing. We do this by providing faith, hope, prayer and support groups for those affected by Cancer on the First Coast and beyond. We are a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that provides free professional support services for people with cancer, caregivers, children, loved ones, and the bereaved. We include counseling and support groups, education, financial assistance and practical help on a case by case basis. F.R.I.E.N.D.S. is led by:

Friends Respond In Every Need Doing Something

Our Mission: F.R.I.E.N.D.S. gives comfort, spiritual support and benevolent assistance to everyone affected by cancer. F.R.I.E.N.D.S. works in concert with the Medical Profession to promote good health and healing. F.R.I.E.N.D.S. does this through the power of prayer, faith, and hope in monthly support group meetings, website interaction and personal ministry. F.R.I.E.N.D.S. also provides benevolent and emergency assistance on a case by case basis.

If you are diagnosed with the disease you are faced with many uncertain and weary days. For myself and my husband, we have experienced this disease and its affect on our personal family and spiritual family. When we were asked to volunteer for the F.R.I.E.N.D.S. 5K Run/Walk, it was a very personal and special opportunity to give of our time and money to help families in support and be able to partake in the love so desperately needed for those affected by cancer.
